Yes, bokashi products are formulated with natural ingredients and are safe for use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. However, as every individual is unique, we always recommend consulting with your healthcare professional or dermatologist before introducing any new skincare products during these special phases of life.

How do you source your essential oils, and what measures do you take to ensure their quality and purity?

We prioritise locally sourced ingredients where possible. Of course, some oils may need to be sourced from overseas due to the origin of the plants. But we remain committed to finding certified organic essential oils from trusted suppliers – particularly Australian farmers, who are true enthusiasts engaged in bush regeneration and share our values of ethical practices like fair trade. Regardless of the source, each blend we offer is tested for quality and purity, and we are completely transparent about the origin of each oil we use.

We only choose essential oils from farms with organic/sustainable practices and ensure that every batch is tested for purity and quality. Every oil we use has been tested for a myriad of pesticide residues, ensuring that our oils are safe and compliant.

Does Bokashi test its products on animals?

No, bokashi is committed to cruelty-free practices. We do not test any of our products on animals.

Where are Bokashi products sourced and manufactured?

Our probiotic range is proudly manufactured in Poland, where we work with a team of experts who have dedicated themselves to probiotic research for more than twenty years. However, our oil blends are crafted in Australia from local and imported ingredients. We are committed to sourcing our ingredients responsibly, such as native Australian essential oils from their natural Australian habitat and Japanese konjac sponges from Japan. Sustainability is at the core of our values, and we prioritise obtaining ingredients from their native regions to reduce water and energy consumption.

Shipping and returns

Who do you ship your products with?

We ship our products both within Australia and internationally.

We use Australia Post and choose their Climate Active certified Carbon Neutral Deliveries program. Shipping fees will be calculated at checkout, providing you with transparent and accurate pricing and timing for your order.

Do you accept returns?

At bokashi, we take great pride in the quality of our products and want our customers to be fully satisfied with their purchases. However, to ensure the quality of our natural products (which are often sensitive to heat and sunlight), we do not accept returns.
