I’m Martyna, the founder of bokashi, and I’m delighted to have you here with us.
Growing up, my mom was always a source of inspiration for me.
With over 20 years experience in manual therapies, she would only use essential oils to ease any aches or pains, from headaches to minor cuts or burns. Her dedication to natural healing and well-being planted the seeds for my own passion for holistic health.
As a psychology student, yogi, and mum entrepreneur, I’ve always been interested in finding ways to promote health and well-being in all areas of life.
When I fell pregnant, I started thinking more deeply about the products I was using at home and on my skin.
I realised that there weren’t many options that met my high standards for quality, transparency, and sustainability.
After nine years of working in the cleaning industry with my own business Neat And Nifty I always sought out more natural alternatives to the chemical based products we were using. Unfortunately, I found through use that they were either filled with harmful ingredients or ineffective products.
bokashi is a brand for people like you – conscious, demanding, and nature-loving.
Our products are fully effective, with most of them distinguished by a 100% natural composition. Only hand and body wash liquids contain 99% natural ingredients. The remaining 1% is a safe, ecological, non-allergenic preservative commonly used in the food industry. We added it to maintain the freshness and stability of organic compounds in our products, without the need to store them in the fridge.
