It is made from three layers of plant-based sponge derived from the luffa plant (Luffa Mill.), which belongs to the gourd family. The dry fibres of this plant resemble hundreds of thin “wires.” When soaked in water, the pad becomes more flexible and elastic, ready for use.
Perfect for gentle exfoliation and facial massage when wet, the pad is also ideal for exfoliating other parts of the body, such as elbows, knees, and more. Due to its elasticity, it is reusable, making it an eco-friendly alternative to disposable cotton pads.
To maintain hygiene and prolong its lifespan, soak the pad in a baking soda solution (1 teaspoon of baking soda per cup of warm water) for about 20 minutes every two weeks. Additionally, after cleaning, it’s beneficial to spray it with VEGE liquid to prevent bacteria build-up. It is sourced from an eco-friendly plantation in Greece, and the plants are not chemically treated, preserving their natural elasticity, golden colour, and durability. This is a 100% natural and biodegradable product.
